Microphone prices depends on a few things such as the jack the quality of the sound the microphone is meant to receive and many other things. If your looking for a simple microphone its normaly around $10.00 for something good the price gos on up for a good one you can actualy get that for $20.00 and get more then enough quality.

I've seen some at 'dollar' stores for 2-3 dollars, garage sales and ebay are good for cheap ones. Computer stores typically sell decent ones for 15-20 dollars. If you want a really high quality (enthusiast/professional) one they can be very expensive however.

It would depend on the type and what you need it for. Prices range from less than 10 USD fo a computer compaitble condenser mic to several hundred USD for a professional grade studio mic.

If u know your way around a garage sale.... you could get one for under $5
They're super-cheap. Just head to an electronics store/ebay and pick one up.

you can get them for a quid or you can get really good quality ones for around 200 pounds. it really depends what you need it for. If it's just for MSN or something then a cheap one will do, if you're going into the music business then you'll need a better quality one.
