i have a logitech webcam and i've tried everything for an hour!! i cant find my plug.. where would it usually be?? is it possible for a modern computer not to have one?

Its not impossible. Is the plug a USB or what? Some computers have the mic jack in the hidden compartment on the front. If it is a laptop it may be on the device already.

Most modern computers have it. It should be right next to your speaker plug(green colored). Its red colored and should have a mike sybol. It may also be on the front f your Pc. It is possible yours came without, but really doubtful if you bought it the last 5 years. Note most modern systems have the color coding listedabove. If yours doesn't it still should have the mike symbol next to it. Check your computer manuel if you still can't find it.

Look on the back near where the speakers are hooked up. Microphone jacks are usually pink in color. If you don't see a microphone, look for a line in (usually blue) and see if that works.
