my keybord isn't working even though its plugged in. it will not type or anything! what i'm using right now is the windows on screen keyboard. anyone know what could be wrong with it? 10pts first best answer. thanx

I don't know anything about RAID except that there are different layouts or something and more than one hard drive. Is there a layout that will make my hard disk performance faster? If so, which one is it and how much faster is it? Any links to an informative site would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I am looking at this AMD processor at tiger direct,its a
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ 2.40GHz, and what i want to know is if each processor is 2.40GHz or if its 2.4GHz together...

(and i dont want to hear about how this processor sucks or how intel is better or any of that crap)

my ram in use and my cache do not add up to my total ram. why?
the numbers aren't even close. i should have somewhere around 256, but it only adds up about 120-150.
where does the rest of the ram go?

I have a memory card for my digital camera and I want to upload my pictures to my hard drive but when I insert the SD card, it tells me that the disk is not formatted and do I want to format it. I want to make sure that it does not erase my pictures.

when i put a disk into my cd rewriter, a game for instance the drive reads it and reads it really fast in speed at one second and slowly at the other time.is there a way to set the drive at the same speed all the time and how can you do this

I bought all pieces (motherboard,harddisk,ram,powersource,box,..everything) and I have already "built" them as a computer!It all went fine,it is working. The problem is: my dvd/cd-rom reads the Windows cd, starts copying backup files and when I have to choose "Press enter to start new installation" (or something like that) and hit Enter, the computer reboots. I have an IDE cdrom and the harddisk is SATA2... can you enlight me on what the problem may be?
