Not technically the USB port to connect to Computer, but directly to the USB flash disk...?

Why would a toaster need a USB port?
Or a keyboard?
Or a mouse? (though Sony did make one with Memory Stick port)

Do you mean having a built-in hub so that you could plug one flash drive into another rather than into two separate USB slots on a computer? Expense, for one thing. And most flash drives get power over the USB port rather than having their own power code, so it wouldn't work to connect them directly without a device that has a power supply.
