My computer got upgraded and I'm having trouble saving documents on CDs but there's no problem using the drive for listening or viewing purposes. Unfortunately, the person that did the upgrade cannot be contacted. Can someone please help? Thanks.

Ok so im going to be buying this gaming computer and i thought i should get your opinions before i buy it, heres teh specs:

1.How would you rate this out of 10
2.Is it worth $2500 (australian) ?
3.Do i NEED to change anything ?

I know there is a way to turn on one click as opposed to two clicks to activate an icon. I just dont remember where? THanks

My graphics card was so hot that I couldn't keep my finger on it. Right now I'm using a different card but the other one is a lot better and I want to be able to use it again. Does anyone know why it would get so hot so fast?

I currently have a Hard drive with 5 partitions (logical drives) C through to H. My C drive is now low on memory and i want to put one of the logical drives partitioned off back onto the main C drive to create more space, preferrably my H drive. I have wiped the partitioned drive but not reformatted it.

I currently run xp pro and have partitioned the drives using the computer management facility (run/cmd/compmgmt.msc).

I have managed to delete the H drive and create free space (4.99MB) but cannot get this memory back to the C drive.

Can it be done? and if so how ...

My current processor is this one:

Intel Pentium 4 640 Prescott 3.2GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80547PG3200F

It's reasonably fast but it runs very hot (close to 70 C when I load it with matlab work)

I want to know if a 2.4Ghz dual core will be significantly faster and cooler when two programs are running??
That is, will this processor
(Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E6600) be much faster??

i recently dropped my external hard drive.. but mind you, it wasnt that far of a drop.. about 1 ft.. but right after that i couldnt access my files anymore.. it still lights up after i plug it in but what used to be a sound that i hear every time i use the drive, seems to have intensified.. is there any way i could have it up and running again?

i have an old compaq presario 7970, that runs on windows 98, i have a system restore disk and everytime i stick it in it says system restore and then the screen goes blank, my computer stopped working one day so i put the disk in and it comes up showing system restore for a few seconds then the screen goes blank, please help!?

The keyboard is called "Smart Office Keyboard". It's made in China but I bought it here in Sweden. I tried Ctrl+Alt+PrtScr but never worked. I tried Shift-PrtScr as well yet same result. It's very frustrating. Same goes with the "F-keys". They're normally the main keys but not in this keyboard. Can anyone help me?

I was just curious if a flash drive wears out. I use my flash drive pretty frequently. If a flash drive wears out how long is it's guaranteed life before it becomes unusable?
