The smallest memory storage unit is bit then is byte then kilobyte and then megabyte. After megabyte is gigabyte then terabyte. The difference is that mb is bigger than kb.

A kb is A kilobyte (1000 bytes) A mb is A megabyte (1,000,000 bytes)
