it really depends... how old... and how big (in Mb's)
try ebay to reserach how much are the components worth...
to me, it's gotta be new, strong, fast, and a lot of Mbs... or it's worthless, I have some 5GB HD's laying around, not even worth using a bay on my desktop, and memory? newer motherboards are not even compatible with old chips.

I think the Pentium 4 is fast enough to handle streaming video. If you're considering a Radeon 4600 series card, you should know the manufactruer's published requirements are overstated. The Radeon 4650 and 4670 work fine on 300W power supplies for the vast majority of computers, they don't usually need 400W.

RAM and motherboards are upgraded by newer faster hardware very often so more than 2 years old,not worth the bother.
But please recycle old electronics responsibly as they contain a high proportion of poisonous non degradable materials and should never be sent to a landfill.

I've seen a lot more people use old computer components to make jewelery and other assorted decorative items that fetch nice money at shows and flea markets

The hard drive could be worth a fortune if the wrong people get ahold of it. Ram is worth what you can get for it.

It depends on:
1) how old
2) the type and amount of RAM
3) capacity of the HD.
