Well first oof nive proccessor but umm if your board is using 533 then theres no point in buying it if your board is not using DDR2 667 atleast that then old stuff. I would recmomend getting a board that supports 667 and get hooked up with A-Data's 667 5300 2GB Ram at Newegg specially made to withstand overclocking and very reliable.

Yes and no. The advantage of DDR SD RAM is that it allows the computer to store/retrieve from two memory cards at the same time. This helps transfer data on the rising and falling edges of the clock cycle rather than just the rising or the falling edges. Essentially what this does is it takes a 32 bit transfer speed and turns it into a 64 bit.

With only one card you are not gaining very much benefit.

The CPU and it's architechture will determine the speed and performance as much as anything. Make sure that everything you have is compatible.

With the low clock speed of the processor you are using pc3200 or 400mhz ram will work just fine and you will save yourself some money. However it will be more tempermental to overlclocking. But, if you want to overclock you should use a high performance memory like OCZ or Kingston anyway.

Here is the URL to take you to the guys who test the stuff. The site will show you the ratings, test, and they even have a section on how to build your own computer, and stuff like what to look for when buying a video card. This will answer ALL your questions.

AMD and Gigabyte both suck in my opinion. Have had both. AMD is catching as a lot as Intel yet no longer even close yet. Do your self a wide favour and seem at Intel with an Asus board. they are somewhat extra intense priced yet will artwork a lot extra effective contained in the destiny. A Phenom X3 is a quad center that did not make it as one so as that they disabled the undesirable center. they do no longer ought to trash them that way.
