You probably have something loose inside. Unplug your PC and open it up. Check to see that the RAM is properly installed. The exact same thing happened to me and reinserting the RAM did the trick. Also check plugs to harddrives & the motherboard.
Another possibility is that you installed incompatible RAM. Have you messed with your PC's hardware lately?
Here is a little picture tutorial on how to properly install RAM: http://www.fonerbooks.com/r_ram.htm

Maybe that is E.T. or an UFO trying to tell you something? :)
Beeps on a PC was a system created by the original IBM many decades ago, to indicate a computer user that his computer had a problem, and those beeps have a code, a message.
If the beeps are something like 3 short beeps, 1 long beep, then 3 short beeps, or some sort of sequence like that, that is exactly what I am saying, it is a code to tell you what is going on.
On modern computers, most of the time that means there is a problem with your RAM memory. That if it was working fine before and now you get those beeps, maybe one of the RAM boards went bad, or anything else, it all depends on the code those beeps are telling you, and that depends on the motherboard, so you will have to contact the manufacturer of your PC to find out what those beeps are telling you.
If the beeping is continuous without stopping that is unusual then, it should be a series of beeping sounds like I said before, 2 short beeps, 1 long beep, 3 short beeps something like that, but if you are getting a continuous "beeeeeeeeeeeeeep" without stop that is totally wrong then you have a very serious problem there.
I would contact your PC manufacturer's tech support as soon as possible if you are getting that constant beep. If you are getting beeps than that is another thing. Check your memory, chances are you have a faulty RAM module, or your BIOS settings are wrong.
Sometimes setting your memory parameters to push it to work "faster" can cause those beeps, if you have messed with your BIOS lately, then you will have to open the PC (if it is under warranty don't!) and take your CMOS battery off the motherboard, also there is a jumper to reset your BIOS, do that, wait a 30-60 seconds or so, put that jumper where it was, put your CMOS battery back, turn the computer on and see if it is okay now.
If after resetting the BIOS to its default settings you still have those beeps then you have a bad RAM module, if the beeping is continuous with no stop, then contact your PC manufacturer.
I hope this helped.

a constant beep is no video. either the card is bad or its not plugged into its slot properly. if its a higher end card it may need power plugged directly into the card. try disconnecting the power, open the case and push gently on the video card. see if it clicks into place. it should be level, not raised at front or back. if you're using onboard video,(no addin card) you'll need to find out what kind of video card your motherboard supports and get one. plugging in an add on video card disables on board video so you'll have no problem.

accessible key caught down? examine the keyboard and notice if any debris someplace is preserving a key down. that's unusual the the computing gadget won't turn off. Is it a computing device? in many situations, long beeping sounds are indicators of problems with hardware or working gadget-point application. they don't seem to be stable information.

Monitor could be unplugged, there could also be too many startup programs (for the beeping, not the blanck screen)

You probably have bad RAM or the DIMMS have gotten unseated. To check the latter, open the CPU and see if they are firmly seated. If it is bad RAM, it might be only one DIMM. Remove one and see if the computer boots. If not, put that one back and remove the other. If that doesn't do it, I don't know. Good luck.
