It has the S-cable out but when hook it up I just get lines going across my T.V. I've tried everything i can think of but I get nothin.

You need to do two things:
1) Set up the video to output TV. There's a setting on your video card (under display properties control panel) that you have to change to get the frequency right.
2) Set of the TV to accept input from the S-video. Usually there's an INPUT SELECT button on the remote to change the input.

Also your resolution must be set fairly low, though I can't remember at the moment what it is.

Maybe you are using an old version driver

Have you installed the lastest video drivers, you can get these from nvidia.com.
