I've done data transfers between PC's and Macs lots of time and it is very simple to do. You have a few options, but the quickest is to network the two machines together. This can be done with Ethernet, WIFI or even bluetooth (bluetooth is very slow and not recommended). All you need to do then is transfer across your data. You needn't worry about itunes. All you need to do is copy your itunes music folder to your new mac. When you open itunes, you can have it scan your system for music, and it will sort itself out.

As it's late and I'm nackered, I haven't gone into detail. But if you go to http://www.apple.com/macosx/switch/howto/network.html or http://www.apple.com/macosx/switch/howto/software.htmlthe explain it really well. It's really easy. My mum did it all by herself last year, and she can't set the video.

Itunes is made by Apple. It will work great. If you buy a copy of XP, Apple will give you Boot Camp for free and you can have Windows on the Macbook along with OSX, so you can still run all the Windows stuff.
You'll like OSX. It's a way, way better OS than Windows.

Well, it's a completely different OS and you'll need to set everything up from scratch so while I can't say if you iTunes will go 'wrong', it's certainly not likely to be a seamless move. I'm sure Apple will have come up with some way of moving stuff across to a different machine but I've never done it so I can't comment on how easy a process it would be.

Will your iTunes go wrong??? I don't get it. iTunes was made by Apple as is the MacBook. They work seamlessly together.
