There won't be much difference. There are enough factors that go into determining performance that an extra 200Mhz of clock speed won't make any difference that you can notice. Therefore, probably not worth it.

If your system is already in good order (hard drive defragged when called for, clean of viruses & spyware, etc.), then the easiest and most affordable way to make a difference in perfomance is to add more RAM.

properly the motherboard helps 800Mhz FSB, so it really isn't any situation. The FSB is area of the CPU, so no concerns about the CPU helping that velocity. The RAM to compare 800Mhz FSB is both PC3200 once you've a DDR motherboard, or really any DDR2 in existence once you've a DDR2 motherboard. on a similar velocity, the only with the swifter FSB should be swifter, because the speed of something else of the computer is depending off the FSB, so if given the alternative, continuously decide on the better FSB velocity.

If the clock speed is the only difference you won't notice any changes in performance on your PC.

Probably not - you won't notice much difference.

Better to add RAM, or upgrade your vid card if you haven't already.
