Some people tell me that sometimes what is written on the power supply box is not real ... like a power supply stating that it's 450W but in fact it's 350W or 300W ... and what's the meaning by "a motherboard needs at least a power supply with 350W and 12V/18A" ??? how can i know if it's really 12 Volts and 18 Amperes at least ??? and where is that data located on the power supply ? cause there is so many data like the +12V , -12V , +5V , -5V , 3.3V and what does those represent ? i know it's so many questions in one .. but i badly need the right information cuz i'm up to buy a new PC ... Thanks !!!

I don't know whether this is a bad sector on the hard drive or a software issue. I'm assuming formatting and starting fresh will fix the problem if it is software related, however if I could avoid this, that would be fantastic!! so 2 questions, is this hardware or software, and can I fix it without formatting? Thanks in advance, Dave

Ok I got this dvd burner, its a comstar, and it is not working correctly. When it burns it says the burn was completed successfully, but then it wont play in other computers/my dvd player and sometimes it wont even play in the dvd drive that wrote it! I have tried different media types and different software, I took the drive back and got a new one but now I am lead to believe that the problem is with my Windows? Could this be true and how would I go about fixing something like this?

I was going through my files deleting things I figured I didn't need. Well, turns out I deleted the program that I guess was my audio driver. I have been trying to figure out how to download a new driver but everytime I get a hold of a soundMAX program, it gets to the installation process but craps out, saying the dirver was not found. Like I said, I can't find a way to download the driver back into my computer. I can't stand not being able to listen to my music. PLEASE HELLLLLLLP!!!!!!!!!!

Google's results are all rubbish.
I really just want the drivers plain and simple - no fussing around with downloading other crap along the way.
If anyone has the drivers and wants to send them to me, I'd appreciate them - I don't mind what format they're in.
The AC97 is running on an eMachines 370.
