I was going through my files deleting things I figured I didn't need. Well, turns out I deleted the program that I guess was my audio driver. I have been trying to figure out how to download a new driver but everytime I get a hold of a soundMAX program, it gets to the installation process but craps out, saying the dirver was not found. Like I said, I can't find a way to download the driver back into my computer. I can't stand not being able to listen to my music. PLEASE HELLLLLLLP!!!!!!!!!!

this will work only if you are using windows Xp or later version on your computer and if the system restore feature is enabled..

click on start then all programs go to accessories then system help and tools and then select system restore.
select restore my computer to earlier date and click on next
u will find some dates in bold select the date when you think you got sound from the computer..click on next....again click on next
then restart the computer your issue will be resolved
