I bought a new OCZ 700w PSU for my PC so that I can use my new 8800GTS and upgrade in the future...

Today everything arrived, and I installed the OCZ psu... I was puzzled because the 24 pin connector is split to 2 connectors. The 20pin and the 4 pin... Oh well I said, and plugged in both. (bizarre)

Then I noticed that there's no 3 pin connector for the fan. There's only a 4 pin connector.
I plugged the 4 pin in to 3 pin. Then I connected the HD and DVD drive. Finally I plugged in the 2nd fan from my case and another 4 pin connector on the mobo.

I decided to see if everything works before I put in the g80... I crossed my fingers and turned on the power when.. BANG! I heared a loud pop and saw sparks flying. I thought I was gonna have a stroke right there on the spot...

I sniffed the PC.. No burning smell....

I crossed my fingers and plugged it in and turned on again... To my great surprise everything works perfectly! What could it be?

No matter what I try to play in it, the voices/sounds are "gurgling" just as if someone were gurgling with mouthwash. I've tried music cds, dvds, cd-roms and it does it with all of them. Today I bought a can of air and a cleaning cd and neither helped - even the voice on the cleaning cd is gurgling. What could it be? My burner has Lightscribe if that helps any.

When encoding & importing, my media that is playing will skip. I have about 70 GB of free space left, I don't think it's a RAM problem. When I took the computer to get checked they could not find a problem. I've had the computer a year, it started doing this a week after I purchased it, new. Any suggestions?

My room is tiny! I have room for a PC but no monitor. A friend told me that you can view a PC image on a CRT TV just using a USB cable. Since the devivce I want to connect it 2 (PS2) is digital, would that enable me to view my PC image cheaply and fun? Id use my PC for chatting, web, and typing!

#1 256MB PCI Express nVidia 7300 Turbocache graphics card

Will any of these cards that are installed be any good for FSX. I dont want any flickering in the buildings, trees, and so on. As long as FSX will run smooth, thats all I care. Iv got a Dell Computer in mind, it cost £629 its a Dell Dimension 9200. Thank you.

I have an older 90's model Dell Sabre computer with a new(er) motherboard and processor inside, recently someone installed an ethernet port into it, and when I turned it back on the power light just kind of blinked a little, faded away, and now the computer will not power on at all. I have replaced the power supply a couple years back, could the ethernet port have blown it, or is it fried? I have some important files on this computer not backed up that I really want to retrieve.
