My room is tiny! I have room for a PC but no monitor. A friend told me that you can view a PC image on a CRT TV just using a USB cable. Since the devivce I want to connect it 2 (PS2) is digital, would that enable me to view my PC image cheaply and fun? Id use my PC for chatting, web, and typing!

I have never seen a USB device for TV, but you can S-Video out or use a Scan Converter which converts a VGA signal to one closer to your TV.

Know this though... even through a scan converter, FONTS will be BLURRY... Only way really around that is going out to DVI to an HDTV that has either a DVI or HDMI port.

Yes you can purchase a USB to Component Video cable but the TV must have a component video input and the picture will suck. A better plan would be to use a monitor for your TV by installing a USB Video Capture device (an internal PCI device would be better nut more difficult to install and remember in this case quality makes a big difference) that allows you to watch TV on your computer. This can give you live pause/rewind and show recording if you have lots of HDD space and gives you a usable display for your computer at the same time.
