What online stores can I buy a basic computer (desktop) I don't need anything too fancy. Any suggestions?

It depends on how cheap you're talking about...If you want really cheap, don't need tech support, etc. Ebay or your local craigslist.org are the cheapest. You can get steals on old computers(Pentium 3, Pentium 4, Celeron, AMD Athlon XP, Sempron). If you want tech support and brand new (Core 2 Duo, Athlon 64 X2), look for sales at your local brick and mortar (Best Buy, Circuit City) if you don't mind filling out a rebate. I think Best Buy typically has no rebate sale deals. Online can't beat local because of the shipping. If you do find a place with free shipping, buy name brand or direct from the manufacturer....Dell, HP/Compaq.

Best buy right now has a decent computer for 400.00. I was actually thinking about buying it for my kids that don't appreciate anything! Do a search on E machine and it should come up. Also Dell has a desktop also for just 419.00. You have to shop around. Good luck!

It depends on your budge and how you are going to use it. I would recommend Dell desktops at www.dell.com. They are cheap and reliable.

If by cheap you mean less than 1000.00 look to build your own. You will get more for your money. Look here for more info.
