All the USB ports on my computer are taken up by devices. I need to purchase something so I can connect my new Epson Stylus Photo RX580 printer, plus my iPod, and digital camera all at the same time using high speed USB ports... Right now, I can't connect them all at the same time. I'm tired of unplugging one just to plug in another. What kind of product should I purchase? Thanks for your help!

For the last couple weeks, I've had this persistent problem with my computer.

I keep getting the "Blue Screen of Death", with Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error as the error code, and it happens sometimes up to 5-6 times a day.

I hear a high frequency noise with a clicking; a friend said it is most likely the hard drive turning on and off.

I've been told it might be a faulty hard drive, or a bad motherboard.


But lately something else has started to happen. Whenever I open/close a page or move something or do anything, my sound starts to get static and it starts to slow down the music playing, and sometimes stops. Then my USB mouse randomly turns off and I have to keep unplugging/replugging it in to get it to work.

I know there's some out there that are much more knowledgeable about computers than I (and others around me) happen to be, so I hope someone can provide me with some direction to fixing this problem...

lost or stolen why arent people able to wait till they arrive at work or home until they use a pc? in todays rush and busy lifestyle laptops are just inviting trouble when being used in public.

My computer currently has a 160gb hard drive in it, and i read somwhere if you have dual hard drives your computer will run better. so i have an older 80gb hard drive that i want to put in it, how can i get this to work properly?

I've tried using them in stores and that mouse pad seems really odd to me, would I get used to it? It seems extremely awkward to use, that little pad that you touch to move the curser.

dell inspiron e1505..&& it just started making a weird noise that kind of sounds like air blowing out of the speakers. It just started everything works but it's bothersome & doesn't sound like it should be making that noise..?? wut to dooooo. is it about to brake or something.

My combo drive is reading the CDs, writing the RCDs and rewriting the RWCDs but not playing DVDs. I have checked the wires or cables or whatever they called etc and checked the software, It is installed. I uninstalled it and installed again but no use. Then I format the whole hard disc but no use. Then I updated the software but no use. I checked it and set it again. The software tells that I am using Combo Drive but in My Computer in the Device Manager it tells that I am using CD ROM. The name of the company of my Combo Drive is LG Electronics.

I am a college student on tight budget ($1000). However, I need a laptop for next semester. Priorities: It should be fast and reliable. I do alot of multi tasking and im into web surfing, music and games but I'll mostly use it for school related work (MsWord etc.) Im thinking a Dell probably an Inspirion with a dual core processor and a two year warranty. Just a suggestion but I open to any advice.

when like parralell lines are visible all over picture , looks like marks from rollers, I once had the same trouble with Lexmark and cleaning the rubber transport rollers fixed it , I have done the same on this printer but I still have the lines, I would appreciate any solutions from people who may have had same problem !!!

ok. i just bought a new comp like two days ago. there was a dvd burner for the master and a blank space under it for one more cd drive. i bought a new dvd burner today and when i connected it to the comp under the first one and go to my computer, there were no cd drives. they are both connected to the motherboard and power. when i take out the bottom one and restart, there is one cd drive in my computer. help???

I've read several articles that LightScribe may be launching full-colour labelling systems in the near future instead of the current grayscale ones.

If that happens, will they be changing the lightscribe hardware(the burner) or the type of CD so that the labels will be in full colour?

Most importantly, if I own a LightScribe Burner now, do I have to purchase a new LightScribe burner to label my CDs in full colour or do I just have to buy new LightScribe CDs that I can use in my current LightScribe Burner to produce full colour labels?

Whats the possibility?

Especially for anyone who's part of a company or corporation that goes through a lot of catridges and toner, what to do with the old ones? I've seen things advertising recycling or getting paid for them, like Office Max commercials, or some charities like Food for the Poor for instance, that recycles them and use the profits to support their own programs- (http://www.foodforthepoor.org/site/...... Is anybody familiar with any of these options, or know of any other beneficial solutions or things people do with empty cartridges, rather than tossing them into the garbage without thinking twice? It feels like a waste to throw them out when I see ways to, and organizations, that take advantage of what would otherwise be garbage.
