You're talking about setting up a RAID array. To do this your motherboard must support raid or you can get a add-on card. You need to get 2 drives minimum, with the same capacity to setup the array. If you're using the 80gb and 160bg together Window can only see a total of 160gb instead of 320gb. Your array will also run at the speed of your slowest hard drive. You need to get a 160gb hard drive from the same manufacturer of the existing hard drive to get the best setup. A 160gb hard drive from another manufacturer will also work for the array but the specs may not be the same. The preferred setup is to use 2 or more drives with the same capacity, same model from the same manufacturer.

1. The only difference between the 160 GB and 80 GB model is the hard drive space, other than that, they have the same features as each other 2. The 80 GB model costs $399.99 and the 160 GB will cost $499.99 In case you're wondering, the 160 GB model is being bundled with a game ( Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, great game) and a voucher for the game "Pain" from the Playstation online store 3. Flash card readers can be used for storing pictures on the PS3 and I believe it can be used to store game saves on However, neither the 80 GB or 160 GB has flash card readers, although you can use an adaptor so that you can use flash cards USB ports are used for recharging the PS3 controller, you can also use a USB flash drive with it ( to store game saves on, which is what I mainly use it for) and use a USB keyboard with it ( it's a lot easier to type messages that way) 4. I would say the 160 GB model, you get a $40-ish ( prices vary) game along with a $10 PSN title ( downloadable game) along with it, not to mention twice the hard drive space of the 80 GB PS3

You can install the drive as secondary drive to increase the dard drive space in the PC. I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems. Some drive problems can be easily fixed by yourself using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful. Try this site, if you can get what is required

By putting in a 2nd hard drive and forcing your operating system to run its swap file there, you can improve performance of your computer system overall.
Choosing a smaller harddisk for your system swap file is wise but make sure it runs at the same speed as your primary drive (ATA100/133 or SATA 1 or 2). When both harddisks are placed on the same bus, the higher speed harddisk is automatically reduce its speed to that of the slower one.

As a Telecommunications Specialist, it is better to buy a hard drive that has enough space on it to do what you prefer. If you are running out of space, it looks like you may need to spring clean your PC for 2007 because a 160 GB Hardrive is allot of room to rent out....lmao.......unless you have a trojan making duplicate files ...YIKES
