I have a Dell XPS 400.

I recently bought a HP TX1320 with AMD 64 2.2GHz
2GB RAM, 250GB sata HDD and Vista OS. It boots much slower than the one bought
last year which is ASUS W5F with Core 2 duo 1.66GHz
1.5GBRAM,100GB IDE HDD and Vista OS
Please tell me why ...CPU matters?.Because AMD has a much smaller cashe than core 2 duo ..or mother board matters? the HP has a better HDD(SATA), faster CPU...larger memory but small cashe memory ...AMD's is 1MB and core 2 duo has 2 MB

is there some keys to lock my keyboard **while screen still working?** i have a kitten and she likes to walk on the keyboard >_< i have that link for cats where theres a small image flying in the screen and my kitten trys to catch it, but she messes with the keyboard too...

Plus also the internal blue light goes out as well,usualy after about 20 mins.Other than that everything else works fine.

I need to get a printer that can print crack and peel, 5-inches x 3 inches.
I need to print 100,000 labels a month crack and peel.
I need the printer capacity to be able to do a clear coat paint over the labels because I have to use these for a beverage product that has to be water resistant.
Is there a printer that can use spools as well? ( round rolls of paper ) Its not a necessity to use spools but it would help when peeling off the labels.
So we are talking self adhesive peel off labels.
I will be using foil paper.
My concern is that I do not want the ink to run or smudge.
I need a shinny finnish.

I've suffered with an Intel 82915g graphics chipset long enough. Every single game I try to play just leaves me frustrated. I'm tired of using apps like 3danalyze and turning the graphics settings on some of the latest games down to the absolute minimum.

I need a new card. I want to play games like Oblivion, The Witcher and Crysis on MAX settings without a hint of graphical issues.

Give me some cards guys, I am a complete idiot when it comes to this kind of thing and am terrified I'll accidentally buy something that's even worse then what I already have. I'm not a tech guy at all, I told you what I'm looking for, can you help?

I have a Belkin G-router at home but it is not exactly working. I just got a new laptop.I also want it to use it at school, but it isn't working either. My friends tries their laptops on the g-routers and it worked just fine. Am I missing something?

Ok I have 3 hard drives on my computer the C,D and the E. Now the C is the primary hard drive and the D is my reparition/recover hard drive however I have a completely free E hard drive at a 298GB capacity. Can I install or move program files to this hard drive. To free up space on my C Drive?

my eyes getting tiered after workingh on it more than 3-4 hours
then i bought antiglare screen frontech that cost just Rs.100

Okay so I have a Dell C521. The specified power supply is 280w, however I've read that this is the average power. I just got a new video card that has a recommended power supply of 300w. Will this card burn out my power supply? I asked Dell tech support and the person said that I would just not get the maximum output of the card. Is this true? If not, what's the worst that can happen? Thanks

I've been recently trying to boot from a CD so I can install Ubuntu... But when I restart my computer I see no 'Press F10/F12/Whatever' to get into the BIOS. I've tried to press F10 and whatever to see if it would do anything but nothing happens... Is there another way I can get my computer to boot from CD?

I have a Toshiba Satellite 2405-S201 laptop if that helps any...
