there is so many different brands of video cards for the ATI Radeon 3850, such as HIS, Sapphire, GeCube, etc. Anyone know which brand is more reliable?

I always like to match the chipset of the motherboard to the chipset of the Video Card. I find that I have less problems.

You picked all of those three brands which are very reliable and can't go wrong with. Don't worry Sapphire and HIS are the best, they are the most suppliers of ATi cards. There are other brands like MSI which aren't as reliable.

HD3850 is excellent card for the price, good choice, don't listen to some others who don't know what they are talking about. My choice out of those brands would be Sapphire but is HIS is just as good don't worry.

I had nothing but problems with any ati card i ever got, I had sapphire and HIS. Niether brand made a difference, my computer still hated them, I put an nvidia in and have never had any problems whatsoever.

If ur motherboard has PCIe slot then go ahead with ASUS ATI Radeon 3870 /512MB graphics card without any doubt. It is Simply the best.

Instead buying costly nvidia graphic cards, u can buy this which bundles a lots of features.

nope.

I think the most important part is the memory or pixel amount flow.

check their rates and pick the best. As far as cheap hardware goes, I have not had any problems with any of them (except memory)
