Hardware - November 2007

It is old! It doesn't have a stand up tower, it has a cpu. It had windows 98 and a friend gave me xp to load on to my computer. The problem is, the xp used up all of my memory. Can I add more to a Gateway cpu? Or can I delete some of the things off xp to clear up some memory? Now I can't get online with verizon dsl, because I can't load the software b/c I have no memory. I am completely stupid when it comes to computers.....please please help!

its an epson photo 895 but it say ERR LEc on the printer screen, can you please tell me whats wrong, it wont print for me at all, the light that show a drop symbol and paper symbol is flashing but usually when i prees it, its brings the paper in but now its giving me out the ink cartrige when i know there is loads of ink, can you please tell me how to fix it, i need it for tonight

I wasn't planning on playing games on my laptop when I got a Dell years ago, but older games work surprisingly well. Basically I'm just wondering if there's a card I can buy so I can play Battlefield 2? If so, which one?

I have a Dell Dimension 5100 with integrated Sigma Tel Audio hardware. I recently upgraded to Vista, and have dealt with the driver issue. According to the Device Manager, my sound card is working properly. My speaker is plugged into the correct jack; however, my computer is telling me that there is "No Audio Output Device installed". Is my sound card just dead. If so, what kind should I buy

I cannot seem to find a updated driver for Vista 64 bit?

I have an external hard drive using power from the wall adpter. In some cases i don't have the wall power. Is there any other way I can modify my external hard drive to use with my usb laptop's power? I am really appreciated for your answer.

I have a macbook and i want to use it to be able to play music off of my phone. On my phone (the nokia 5300) which has a music player, i can select a song and select "play via bluetooth," which is meant for a set of bluetooth speakers...
which I don't have.
Then comes in the macbook... Which most know has bluetooth.. Can make my phone recongize the macbook as a media player over bluetooth.. with any program?

I bought a HP dv9628 1.9 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-58 2gb mem, Vista Home Premium, Graphics NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150M, but i cant play a game! i mean, i install Fifa 08 and is so slow... proevolution slowly!! so slowly! and the players dont have arms! spiderman like turtleman! is amazing cause this supposed to be an amazing machine! I just finished installing and hooking up a HP LaserJet 3100 printer to my PC. Unfortunately, the ink in the cartridge is dried out and documents are not printing correctly. Is there a way I can get the ink to become, well, undried? I would hate to have to throw away the ink cartridge since it is full.
