its an epson photo 895 but it say ERR LEc on the printer screen, can you please tell me whats wrong, it wont print for me at all, the light that show a drop symbol and paper symbol is flashing but usually when i prees it, its brings the paper in but now its giving me out the ink cartrige when i know there is loads of ink, can you please tell me how to fix it, i need it for tonight

I would say first (obviously) check the connection between Computer and printer. If that is fine, then try removing the ink waiting about ten seconds and putting it back in.

First I would pull the power adapter from the printer and wait a minute and plug it back in this will reset your printer.
Try it again. and if NO try to find the CD Disc that came with the printer.
Now turn everything OFF computer printer everything.
check your USB or Firewire connecter. Make sure it is pluuged in all the way. Start your printer, and wait a minute, now start your computer and let it boot up all the way and try to print. IF no then insert the CD that came with the printer and redownload the drivers for your printer, and go to epsons site and see if they offer any updates to there driver package.
Last if you are using VISTA, it may be that they haven't updated the drivers for that printer yet.

You probably inserted the ink cartridge wrong. Take out the ink catridges and try again. Wait until the printer warms up.

unplug your printer from the computer and the electricity, turn the printer off, wait a minute or so, plug everything back in, turn on your printer and reboot your computer.
If that doesn't work, uninstall your printer software through ad/remove programs, unhook the usb port, reinstall the printer software, and when it says hook up the printer, do so.

empty cartridge somewhere or that one or more arent connected,that symbol denotes that you dont have enough ink.
