I just finished installing and hooking up a HP LaserJet 3100 printer to my PC. Unfortunately, the ink in the cartridge is dried out and documents are not printing correctly. Is there a way I can get the ink to become, well, undried? I would hate to have to throw away the ink cartridge since it is full.

LaserJets do not use ink. They use toner. When ink cartridge dried, there is nothing you can do. Buying a new laser printer is more economical in the long run.

I am not sure about laserjet. But with Inkjet I place the print head in a jam jar lid and pour boiling water in the lid and let it soak. After wiping the head a few times with a damp paper towel, and if really stubborn, changing the water, eventually the ink starts to flow as it desolves. Then put it back in the printer and do a printer head clean.

I have the same problem!
I just bought it & its dry.
I've tried cleaning the cartridges, realigning....
I don't think there's a fix.

Nope, you need a new cartridge.
