how do i hook up my tv to my computer so i can burn movies from my tv?

I don't know, but why don't you start by getting a t.v. tuner card for your computer?
(It'd be a whole lot simpler!)

TV tuner card required. You have to search for TV tuner card manufacturers for details of facilities in it. So far I know it's extremely difficult to burn the movies directly from TV movies as those are not all digital. Secondly it requires a huge memory and thirdly all movies are copyrighted and it's illegal to copy it.
