My laptop doesn't pick up a wireless internet signal nearly as good as my dad's computer does. Is there any way that I can increase the wireless reception in my laptop?

I have a server that is used to distribute internet lines to other people (main line connected to server > server gives out a line to the switch and switch lets about 32 people connect) . I have a bandwidth of 1 MB/s. Some people uses software like DAP and limewire and takes the fullspeed leaving the other users at byts/second. Is there a software I can use to control the speed of the network.

I was hoping someone could help me find the best way to network 2 computers in my townhome. My previous home had an unfinished basement so runing the cabling was not a problem. Now that I live in a townhome, I'm not sure how to run the wires. The two rooms are directly across from each other in the hall with a bathroom in between them. I was thinking of running the cable under the carpet but I don't want to creat a bump and I'm unsure about cutting the carpet. Can anyone help me out?

Respected sir;

I would like to infrom you that I am doing research at the department of computer science, pune university, I read the paper title “ Efficient Route Repair Methods in AODV” and I am working now on aodv, Therefore, I have got some questions I hope that you will help me in this matter.

1- Can I use multipoint rely (MPR) in route discovery process in Ad hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV)?
2- How the AODV discovers its immediate neighbors?
3- Can I use hello messages with limited local scope before the route request broadcast to the network in AODV routing protocol?

Notes that: “The use of local hello messages ensures that only nodes with bi-directional links are considered to be neighbors”.

With my best regards.

Thanks.
