Is there a way that I can establishing a connection between my Laptop & PC?

I'm trying to transfer music & movies from PC to Laptop.

If both computers have an ethernet port, you can get an ethernet crossover cable and connect them using that cable, or get two regular ethernet cables and a hub and connect them that way.

You must have LAN connectors on both.If you use XP in control panel you can make home network ant to connect laptop and PC.

if your running windows xp or me connect both computers to a network and run network wizard
