the basic idea is that all are ethernet cables for ethernet cards
some ethernet cables are different
but what you looking for is a cable to get your computer conected to a router or a modem
to be sure just check the way it looks like the entry for the ethernet card and you can figure out easily if that's what you need

Cat 5 cable and LAN cable ARE the same. Usually, anything that is Cat 5 or higher is referred to as LAN cable. Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat 6. Cat 5 actually refers to 5 twists per inch of cable.

Belkin is just a manufacturer.. If it sais belkin cat5 cable, then it is the same...
Lan cable usually refers to CAT5 but it can be other things as well. Also check if you need a straight or crossover cable.

Cat 5 can are available in any colour, and maximum ethernet cables use cat 5. commonly you get distinct hues to make it extra uncomplicated to work out what is going the position. if you're actually not in a knowledge midsection with a rats nest of cables it gained;t remember as a lot.

Usually the cable that we use are Cat5 or Cat5e cable, and they can be straight or crossover cable, the difference is on the wire arrangement of the cable.
