Your IP address is the address other computers (in the outside world) use to contact your computer. It's a lot like a phone number. If the IP address you're using changes, any computers trying to contact yours may have trouble. For ordinary home use, this doesn't really matter.
If you're running a VPN setup, or a server, you may begin to care.

For most of the things on your internal network you are better using a dynamic address. The difference is that one does not change when you disconnect or reboot and the other can. Some things might need special configuration (port forwarding for instance) and then they are better with a static address. The disadvantage of a static address is that it can overlap with another dynamic ip and cause confusion unless you configure it carefully to be well away from the dynamic block of numbers. But a correctly set up static address should not have become dynamic on a reboot. Take a look to see what you did wrong if it needs to be static.

no it's not bring any problems..
the static and dynamic is depends on the provider services...the difference is when you are connecting to the internet the provider will give you the same ip address for the static one and for the dynamic you will get different ip address everytime you are connecting to the internet..

A static IP must be configured manually and never changes. A dynamic IP is assigned automatically and may change periodically. There is no need to change ISP because of that.
Personally I prefer static IPs as it makes it much easier to run a server on my connection. That said, although my connection is technically dynamic, my IP hasn't changed in several years.

Static IP means your IP is static and it doesn't change.
Dynamic IP is an IP assigned to you by a DHCP server and it _may_ change.
Typically most internet providers provide you a dynamic IP address but most internet providers also have static IP services so ask your internet provider for information on getting static IP if you need it.

Static means you have always the same address. Dynamic is when you may have a different address each time you connect. If you're a regular domestic user they're both the same for all practical purposes. Don't worry about it.
