Everytime i try to clean my interior windows of my car, i always end up getting streaks. I've tried wiping with with microfiber cloths, glass wipes, windex, etc. and i always have streak marks still. its very frustrating because there needs to be certain lighting in order to see the streak marks, thus making it very hard to clean it right. what am i doing wrong? is there a better way or special product to handle this?

*i've only had this problem after the dealer washed my car; they left streaks all over the interior of my windows and i hav never been able to take them off.

I had my muffler changed on my 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee yesterday nothing was really wrong with the old one I am just gradually maintaining the Jeep, my cat convertor is only 2 years old. Now when I step on the gas or make a turn it vibrates/growls. It is not hitting or rubbing against anything and my old muffler made no sounds at all so I am pretty sure it isn't the cat convertor...any ideas so I can throw them at my mechanic when I take it back??

The side of the T and Country consists of passenger door, automatic door, and then the part that has the windows that slightly opens. HOw much would it cost to replace the entire back frame where the window slightly opens and what is that entire part called (I thought it was called the quarter panel)?

I've got to get the timing belt on my 1997 Toyota Tercel done soon. Everyone keeps telling me I should get the water pump and serpantine belts done at the same time, but I had all of that serviced about 15,000 miles back when one of my serpantines broke. Do I need to get the whole works redone or can I get away with just getting the timing done?

I've been wondering, if it is ok to fill my gas tank completely, but I mean completely, I force the gas pump to put more gasoline in my truck, even though it stopped by itself, I raise the tip of the pump a little so more gasoline come out. Is this ok? Because the other day I saw a generator with a stamp that said "Do not fill completely the tank, leave some space for gas expansion" something like that. please answer my question, thanks

I just got into a car accident with my new jimmy, however I have not transfered the title over to my name yet, or the insurance. I hit a 90's model corvette and it was def. my fault. Both have a bit of bumper damage, but since I have no insurance I may be screwed. Now I do still have coverage on my old car, what kind of position am I going to be in.

I have a rover 25, 75K miles. The engine just stopped taking load or didn't accelerate after driving for around 20 miles. I stopped the car and after 5 mins it was working fine. Could anybody tell me the possible reason for that??? Is it the engine not cooling properly or something wrong with the engine??
cheers

WD-40? Gasoline? Bleach? Cherry bomb?

Mine's gone bad, says the codes the gal at Auto Zone said. She says they get corroded with carbon and just stop working.

Would pulling one out of a junkyard wreck be worth a try?

Should I just stop being such a cheap bugger and go buy one for $130?

So the other night I got off the highway and was taking a left off the ramp and heard a horrible metal grinding sound coming from my front drivers side wheel. It only does it when I am taking a slow left turn or sharp turn (like into a parking space.) I'm pretty sure it's my wheel bearings bc I just had the tire rodes replaced last year, otherwise my car works great, so I don't think its the axle/brakes. Anyone have any idea how much this might cost to fix OR if it could be something else? If it's the wheel bearings I'm going to fix them both at the same time, so if you give pricings ideas please concider that. Thanks!

I have a 97 mitsubishi eclipe gs-t, and it runs warm at low RPM's (idle-1500). I drove it around for a bit and it was fine, but when i slowed down to a stop or rolled down the hill in neutral it would heat up above average (2/3 the way up), and when i had it parked in my driveway at idle it would heat up too, but when i reved it up to 3000 RPM (in neutral) it cooled right down to normal. I turned one of the pulleys on the water pump around a few days ago (previous owner put it on backwards =P) and found that the water pump had a little bit of play in it, so i think it might be the water pump am i right?

I wanna buy some nice looking Hubcaps for my Oldsmobile. I found a pretty good looking place that i can buy them from.

http://www.wheelskin.com/

They have a whole section for Universal Hubcaps, but then they have this in there review

These hubcaps will fit your vehicle if:

# Your vehicle currently has hubcaps.
# Your hubcaps are not secured by lug nuts.
# Your tire size is 15"

My Hupcaps have lugnuts!!!! Is there anyway to go around this? Thanks for any help.

Someone wrote on the hood of my car with what seemed to be a rock or some chalk and sratched the surface. The scratches are not deep into the paint and multiple people say they are removealbe. I neighbor let me use a variable speed polisher and told me to use some rubbing compound, but I need to know the difference between the multiple kinds of pads available. Thanks for the help.

1997 Chevy S-10 pick-up. I've tired everything including what the manual says, but can't get the shift stick out of park.

I finally took the cover off and by pressing a plastic piece it releases the metal insert low enough to take out of gear.

What has happened and how can I fix it. Did a little piece break? I've sprayed WD-40 all around..

I was wondering if i could make a flame thrower for my 1995 gmc sonoma 2.2L truck for show but i don't know if it will work because it has a catalytic converter and i don't what to take off the catalytic converter. Plus i was wondering if just hooking a switch, wires, and sparkplug to the battery will work because i also don't want to cut out the spark in a cylinder because it does more damage too the engine. thank you.
