It has a V6, 4wd, automatic ext cab. Some dude from an auto parts store said to shoot some starting fluid in the air filter housing towards the throttle body and that helped a little. Before doing that, the truck wouldn't start very well. It was slow to start. The guy at auto parts store also said to try a can of seafoam but we want to fix it, not put a band aid on it. Any suggestions? I'm not afraid to reward with 10 points for best answer!

It just recently started happening, I thought i was low on oil and that that was the reason of this noise. I had an oil change and it still made the same noise. Its been about 3 days, and now it is getting worse.

When i start the car, it makes a rattling/pinging noise. And it makes the same noise when i accelerate. You can't really hear it when you stand outside of the car, but when you are inside it, its loud and disturbing.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be, and if so, how much is it going to cost me to fix?

My girlfriend wants to put some bigger tires on her vehicle. I'm thinking 32's. I don't think they'll fit without a lift. What is the best way to lift her car without doing it as a "cob job"?

I don't put as many miles on my car as I used to; now I find that the suggested date has come and gone, but I still have quite a few miles left before the scheduled oil change.

I am looking for something not very expensive and that is gentle to use to clean the interior of my car. All the mercedes products are so over-priced. Thanks!

Do they measure torque at the piston? What about when the piston is in between top dead center and bottom dead center, how is there the most torque then? Is it the distance from the crank pin or the length of the connecting rod used in the equation to calculate torque? If it is distance from the crank pin then what about the sideways movement? Is the equation force of piston times distance from the crank pin or the length of the connnecting rod? What about when the piston is in between top dead center and bottom dead center, how is there the most torque then?

Me and my brother was changing the Spark Plugs on my 1.1 peugeot 205 when a plug broke leaving a small 5mm peice to fall into the cylinder, when running the car cuts out on tick over and blows out grey smoke. Is our only way around it to take the head off and get it out?

Thanks

i try many things and still can not find the reason. and when the wheels are up i have to hold gas pedal up to 2000 rpm and then the wheel start going. on the ground i have to wait probably about 20 seconds for transmission to kick in on drive.and then the car is going with normal speed with out any problems. i just wonder if i need any adjustments or my tran is not good. when the car is down the transmission jumps and i can feel it inside a car. its like it has some kind of delay to switch to a gears. i don't know what else i can try. i know it has enough fluid and i put new torque converter. someone told me i need another transmission. if there anybody to know what might be a problem i will really be thankfull for information
