Hi,
I am looking for something not very expensive and that is gentle to use to clean the interior of my car. All the mercedes products are so over-priced. Thanks!

saddle soap.... just wet a wash cloth and put a little of the soap on the cloth... scrub like you are taking a bath....
follow up with a light rubbing of mink oil or some other leather protectant.
If you go to a leather shop, they will try to sell you some expensive stuff but this works great for me. Just don't use ArmourAll--it's really slippery when it dries.

I asked the same question here on behalf of my dad's Lincoln, then pretty much destroyed the interior of his car. Now I'd say, "Just spend the money, darlin'. You'll be glad you did."

a mild detergent and hot water is all i ever use on mine and it does a good job. add a little new car scent to it after you clean it and its as good as new again for a few months. it is the cheapest i have ever found.
