In every house there is at least one table lamp that plugs into a socket. You could have moved the one from your bedroom for example instead of using the car head lights.
How to change a light bulb.
a. Make sure the switch is in the off position
b. You may have to wait a while for the light bulb to cool down or use a dry cloth or towel so as not to burn your fingers.
c. If it is an Edison Screw type light bulb then simply hold the lamp holder with one hand and turn the light bulb anti-clockwise until the light bulb is out of the lamp holder. Take a new bulb and repeat the method turning the bulb clockwise until firm in position. If it is a bayonet cap type, push the bulb into the lamp holder, to free the pins from the slots, and turn it anticlockwise while still pressing the bulb in. When you meet resistance let the bulb come out. To replace it push th bulb into the lamp holder until the spring is compressed fully in, turn clockwise and release slowly. If the bulb stays in the lamp holder with the bulb pins in their slots the job is done.
Try practising on a standard lamp or table lamp with the plug removed from the socket.
Get your boyfriend to recharge your battery - the car battery I mean.

Well thats just great, instead of replacing a $2.00 light bulb you cooked a $60.00 Car Battery. (Do you work for the Government by any chance?)
When you finally get someone to come over and give you a jump, ask them to pick you up some lightbulbs on their way over. It will be better for both of ya.

Then ask her how she feels approximately it (despite in case you do no longer desire to correctly known - the thought is severe high quality) and pay interest to the respond. If that fails - say what makes her chuffed and have a criminal rfile put in place that prohibits this sort of subject - very like a DNR (do no longer resuscitate). via the time she learns approximately it, you probable won't techniques the torrent of verbal abuse!

Couldn't you replace a light bulb???
At any rate, you will have to get a jump and let the battery recharge, or a battery charger to recharge it. good luck.
