I can start the truck everytime but the engine turns over several times and then sputters at the beginning upon startup. After revving the engine a couple times the truck runs fine. If engine is still hot the startup is better. To help with the answer.... I also had to put Super Unleaded gasoline in the truck one time because that was all the gas station had. And throughout that tank of gas the truck started perfect. Afterwards, when filled with regular unleaded...the startup problems came back.

The tongue jack on our popup camper got bent pretty badly. We have to replace it. The hole that we put it into on the tongue is now 1 3/4 ". The new tongue jack is 1 7/8" in diameter.

How can we make the 1 3/4" hole bigger?

A hole saw won't work - since we can't drill a pilot hole to stabilize it while we use the hole saw.

Is there some way to grind it bigger?

Hi I have a 94 Deville and the trunk release buttons on both the interior and the keyless entry wont pop my trunk. I know before I brought the car somebody had broken out the lock and stole the sound system but I recently went to a scrap yard and picked out a spare trunk lock and re-installed it. I also checked all the fuses and they're all good. The trunk pull down switch works and the actual lock that I got from the scrap yard functions too. Does anybody know where the trunk release mechanism is, as maybe im overlooking it, or any suggestions on what I should do next?

I have all the parts unscrewed, wheel and caliper. I have taken a rubber mallet and beaten the brake rotor for a good 30 minutes. I have even let liquid wrench soak in between the two parts to help break the rotor free. Kung Fu kick and beating on the rotor will not help removed seized rotor. Any general maintenance advice on how to break a rotor free?

I don't have the cash to spend a few hundred dollars on new brakes and rotors at the mechanic so I was wondering if it's at all possible for me to do it on my own. What are the chances that I really mess something up?

I'm a smart guy and can usually follow directions well regarding these things. Anyone have any tips as well?

My Galant is making a loud screeching sound upon start-up and when the acceleration is stepped on. Sometimes it also does this when the A/C is turned on. It started in Dec. when it was very cold out and has progressively gotten worse to the point it lasts for the whole drive. It is not as bad when the car is stopped or being put in park. What could it be? How much will it cost to fix? I am getting it fixed this Thurs and want to be prepared.

My roommate has a 1998 Kia Sophia that originally had a bad belt took it in to get it changed. They changed her belt a long with one of the barrings and ball joints in the front of the car. After she got her car back the squeaking noise came back when she would turn the AC on, then it starting doing it when the AC was off, but just for a minute or so.

She took it to another guy who then replaced her water pump, she also ended up getting ANOTHER belt as the new one was already getting worn.

Now, about a week later the car still squeaks with and without the AC on but now there's a new problem. It started out when she would put her car in reverse and turn the wheel the car would make this really loud squealing noise and then the wheel would lock. She would have to jerk it really hard to get it to unlock. That went on for a few days...and now the car squeals a lot while just driving and if she turns a lot to the left or right the wheel will lock.

Her power steering fluid is full.
