The right heat range glow plug will run a pulse jet.
Getting the right range could be a problem.
Once had a Dyna-Jet which used one, (LOUD).
If you want to run a plug, you'll have to cobble up
some kind of points working off the valve and tuned
to the dynamics of the engine.

yes it will work...
if you want to run a spark plug you can hook a old distributor to a electric motor "a heater motor works well" spin it and hook the coil wire to your plug..

the easy way to make a jet is to start with a old turbocharger..
place a pipe with your igniter and a fuel port in it, between the intake and exhaust pumps...
it will need a small oil pump
start it spinning with a leaf blower turn on igniter...ad fuel,,
"a propane tank from the bar-B-Q works great"
it should start right up...it will be loud
