i have just spent the last half hour searching google for a website that sells the belt and tensioner for the power steering on a ford mondeo v6. 2.5 mk2 1998. google was useless, even typing -breakers still returns an awful lot of breaker sites. i need an online catalogue and order system. i can get it easy enough for volkswagen!

You must have a Ford dealer near you, surely? Get your parts from there. At least it'll be the genuine article.
