Everytime i try to clean my interior windows of my car, i always end up getting streaks. I've tried wiping with with microfiber cloths, glass wipes, windex, etc. and i always have streak marks still. its very frustrating because there needs to be certain lighting in order to see the streak marks, thus making it very hard to clean it right. what am i doing wrong? is there a better way or special product to handle this?

*i've only had this problem after the dealer washed my car; they left streaks all over the interior of my windows and i hav never been able to take them off.

I use stoners invisible glass that you can get a walmat or kragen.
Works great and used by a lot of pro detailers and safe on tinted windows. Keep using that microfiber towel and make sure your MF towel is very clean and free from fabric softener etc. I usually wash my towels before use.

There are two tricks to having streak free windows. The first is to use windex with a small amount of vinegar added and then use old newspaper to wipe them off. The second is to never use armor-all type products on your dash. They evaporate with the heat and leave a film on your window that is difficult to remove. Smoking leaves a nasty hard to remove film also.

I clean my windows with windex and paper towels and then go over the glass again with a clean rag and it works beautiful, also I have waxed my windows with car wax and that will also do a great job.

are you sure it is on the inside it might be on the outside .a little trick ive learned is to wash the inside windows from left to right and the outside from top to bottom. this a way you can tell where the streak is .works everytime. keep using the vinegar mixture and the mf towels.

you need to clean them with vinegar to take off the wax or grease the dealer left on your windows. Also use an old "T" shirt to clean them with. make sure the shirt has been washed clean before use. If you don't have a used white "T" then use bounty white kitchen towels.

As several people have suggested already, use a solution of vinegar and water and old crumpled up newspaper.
