I just installed a K&N OEM replacement air filter in my 1997 honda Civic CX. I can't tell a difference in performance at all... It idles much lower now, and runs hot on the highway. The temp guage is 70% now and before the new air filter, it was always around 25%. I'm thinking of taking the air filter out and going back to the paper filter. Does anyone know why this is happening, or what I can do to fix it ?

I bought a certified Pre-owned car back in 03 from a dealership. The car came with a 2yr volkswagen warranty. In addition to this I purchased an extended two-year warranty. Volkswagen uses a insurance company for extended warranties. I was wondering if anyone knew the exact name of the company. It is something like Mastergaurd or Mastercraft....something like that. Thanks in advance.

I own a 94 Jeep Grande-Cheerokee. It has started randomly dying one me. Sometimes when it is setting still, turning a curve, coasting. It will start back up though. I also have had a problem with it starting when I first get in it. I took it to a mechanic. He hooked it up to the diagonistic system and also cleared out the computer. Nothing could be found. Could this possible be a problem with the fuel system? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Admittedly, car stuff is not my strong point to say the least, but I do know to get the oil changed regularly and keep the maintenance current. It just seems that I am not getting the mileage that I should be getting on my little Saturn.

Any suggestions?

My car has one dull looking headlamp cover, the other one looks brand-new. I brought some blue headlamps but only one is really beaming at night. So im looking for something that can actually get the dullness out of the headlamp cover.
