I've replaced my fuel cap three times and checked all of my lines from the cap to my charcoal canister and tank but I still get a check fuel cap light a couple of days after I reset the computer....any expert knowledge as to what I could be missing???

You probably have a very small Evap system leak that the PCM is picking up as a loose fuel cap. There is no other way to check for an Evap leak other than take the car in and have them hook up the smoke machine, this will pinpoint your leak.

Does your car have a fuel door with a latch? Check it for tension. If you have a weak, missing, or incorrect spring, it won't hold the right pressure on the latch pin and set off the check engine light.

maybe the switch that senses that is shot.
