For the first few days it would cut out while I was driving but as long as I gased it, it would continue driving. Then it actually died a few times while driving but started back up immediately. I parked the other day for about and hour and when I went to leave it wouldn't start. We tryed starting it several times and had it towed on Sunday to our house. It started this morning when my husband tryed it. Any ideas on what the problem could be? If you want anymore information please let me know.

I parked it, went inside. And came right back out. It wouldn't start. When I went to lock the doors, I could hear a 'faint horn' and there was not enough power to lock them. A neighbor helped me jumpstart the car this morning so I could take it to Walmart to replace the battery. I get in, put it in reverse, and then it dies. What's the DEAL??? I'm clueless when it comes to cars. I need to work on that.

1990 Honda Accord occasionally (like a couple times a month) will not start. Usually this happens after it was running and then restarted. My boyfriends does the same thing, but his has something to do with the sport button on the shifter. Could it be an ignition terminal or ignition coil causing the problem?

I got an estimate for the work, but my mom (who owns the car) said to wait until she's back in town and she'll take it to someone she knows to fix it. I'm in southern California in the summer, so I don't need heat. Are there any other issues with not fixing it? I'll probably drive it another 400 miles or so before she gets back.

Ok, so one day I hop into my Jeep & switch on the headlights. Neither of them come on. After fiddling with the switch for a few minutes I decided to check my brights & voila, they both came on. My brights are activated by pulling inward on my turn signal lever. Strangely enough, the brights only come on if I hold the lever inward. I can't just click it on & the lights stay on. I can't imagine both the low beams being blown simultaneously & I can't figure out why I have to hold my high beams switch manually in order to keep them on. Any clues anyone?

Does Anybody Know! I drive a 97 Mazda 626 dx,(automatic) and my OverDrive light keeps blinking. Also when i am going from 0 to 60 with my foot on the accelerator, it does'nt accelerate well. It stalls a little as if it was manual shift. When i am accelerating it makes the sound but it does nothing, i have to then take my foot off of the gas pedal then press it again until i pass like 40 mph. i hope this makes sense to anyone.

My tiller has a 6hp Tecumseh engine on it and I have had to (at times) operate it with the choke lever in the half way detented position. This suggested a fuel delivery issue to me. I changed the fuel line between fuel tank and carb and eliminated the filter, just as a test. I also tweaked the carburetor settings on both main metering jet and idle screws. But it just runs rough and then will die after 3 - 4 minutes. When it dies, there is fuel in the carb bowel when I depress the sediment drain spring loaded device. I plan to replace the spark plug next and then possibly remove and clean carburetor. I am suspicious of a possible leaking head gasket (I can see a little black exhaust goo coming out of one side) as well as a weakening / failing magneto and / or an issue with the valves.
Any one a good small engine service man?

I have a 1998 mercury sable and the automatic power antenna is broken. Anyone have a suggestion on where to get an antenna that works for this car and that I can put in myself? I need one that's easy for a novice to install. Thanks for your help!

I got a brand new car Saturday and when you're over about 45 mph and step on the brakes the steering wheel shakes. My boyfriend says it's normal and the car has to be broken in. It was on the lot for awhile and someone said maybe it was rusted roters which will get better with driving. Any input? Is this normal?

Just 2 days ago I find water dripping underneath my car while the aircondition is on and it makes me worry that there's leak but when I put off the aircondition, the dripping stops. Is it normal to find a water dripping or do I have to worry about it?
