Ok, so one day I hop into my Jeep & switch on the headlights. Neither of them come on. After fiddling with the switch for a few minutes I decided to check my brights & voila, they both came on. My brights are activated by pulling inward on my turn signal lever. Strangely enough, the brights only come on if I hold the lever inward. I can't just click it on & the lights stay on. I can't imagine both the low beams being blown simultaneously & I can't figure out why I have to hold my high beams switch manually in order to keep them on. Any clues anyone?

Headlight switch, all the power runs through the switch to the multifunction switch. I have replaced numerous headlight switches in Mopar vehicles for this concern

If you have extra lights hooked up to your light switch, it may have burnt the switch out. it does sound like the switch is bad (the main one where you turn them on) cause when you pull back on the turn signal one they work and that is a high/lo actuator, and a simple reminder to bad motorist that don't know how to dim headlights when meeting other cars. I have had this problem on numerous cars and trucks and it always winds up being the main switch. Good Luck

Sounds like your whole problem is in the light switch stalk on the column. I am not familiar with Jeep, but it could be a quick or complicated fix, depend on how hard the steering wheel comes off and access to the light switch.

Sounds like you need to check/repair/replace the bright switch.
A remote chance it is the headlight switch, but this sounds like the bright/dim switch that needs replaced.
Check your fuse panel first to see if you have separate fuses for bright/dim... it may just need a fuse! (Much easier to replace than a switch!)

If you have checked fuses and connections you probably need a new headlight switch.

you probly want to replace the multi-function switch
thats the switch that the headlighs and turn signals run off of

My guess is a bad relay. near, or in the primary fuse box.
