I was just about to contest my parking ticket in writing through the mail and discovered I may not have to anyway. The meter maid wrote my license # but it's missing 1 digit in the middle and the ticket listed my last 4 digits of my vin # incorrectly too.

I'm trying to obtain a new drivers liscense in the state of wisonsin, but I'm suspended in mich, ohio, indiana.... I havn't had a vaild drivers license in 5 years..... Yeah I know -.- I'm planning on moving to wisconsin and was wondering if the I just apply for one without showing them a State ID or DL.. in other I will be going in with birth cert, Utiltiy bill, SSC. and trying to act like I never gotton a Drivers License... Will this work, or is it all linked to my social secruity number?

I live in Florida, and i found a car that i want. My Dad, lives in Pennsylvania and wants to buy the car for me, but he has to take out a loan for the car, and he can't because the car won't have Pennsylvania tags. The only thing i can think of is driving the car the whole way up there to get the tags and then drive it back, but i dont want to be driving around with PA tags. Anyone know anything else we could do?!

I bought a parts car without the title. The guy i bought it from said the car was his brothers who died the past year. His brother didn't fininsh paying off the car. I am using the frame, engine, and interior of the car. Can I get a title for it? How would i go about doing it? I live in Minnesota.

A guy backed into my car and his insurance company says they will not pay for the difference between my current liability insurance and the full-coverage insurance that is required for the rental. I have the police report saying I am not at fault. I am in South Carolina. I am currently driving the rental and paying for the difference out of my pocket but I think that his insurance company is just trying to get out of paying. Am I correct? Is there anything I can do/say to get them to cover it?

i had an accident with a bike today,i was going to turn right when a car from a long queue gave me right of way, i turned but suddenly a bike showed up on the other side of the vehicle and we collided.The biker was slightly injured and his bike was damaged.It was one of those accidents that was hard to avoid as they were no traffic lights and i didnt see him.
What is the maximum penalty i can expect,like insurance claims and fines of penalty points and the sort.

long story short my hubby got in a small fender bender with a big a*s truck and my car is very small. I did not have insurance on it at the time and now the other persons insurance company is comin to me for payment. I've emailed the pictures of both vehicles to the kids agent to show to her that there was only damage to my taillight but never heard back so now I am mailing the pictures to her. What I want to know is if I request a investigation to be done ( because I know the other party is trying to get my to pay for damage that doesn't exist or he didn't do) do I have to pay for it? Also there wasn't a police report filed so doesn't that mean they cannot file a claim with their insurance company? The accident happened in Iowa and the other driver lives there too.

I never got into a real accident till last night. I was driving 5 miles/hour bumper to bumper rush hour on the highway (right most lane) when someone hit me from behind. I stopped and he waved at me from behind so I pull off to the shouder. He drove passed me and yelled out something in a mad manner and took off. I was able to get his license number. I thought about calling 911 but the accident was not bad and no one was injured. So I called my husband at home and he said he would call the police for me so I drove home. He did and the police told us to file a report online. In the meantime, we called our insurance company. What is going to happen next? Do I need to face the guy - if they find him? He kinda scared me.

How would I go about this with the insurance company. They're sending out an estimator to look at the damage and was told they issue a check based on the assessed damage. Could I cash the insurance check and do my own repairs. I don't care about the minor cosmetic stuff and I can fix mechanical myself.

I am planning on buying a car later today but I am planning on moving to another state next month. (I live in Alabama and will be moving to California.) Will I need the Alabama plates in order to register the car in California or will the temporary tag be sufficient? And, with the holidays coming, what are the chances that I will even get the plates before I move? (I plan on moving December 17th.)

i got into an accident that had MINOR damages but it's noticeable, should i involve my insurance since the guy who hit me is being an ahole? haha .. i do want my car fixed but my dad said it's not worth it to involve insurance and the other guy wont pick up his phone!
