Can they track a parking ticket with the wrong license plate and vin numbers?

I was just about to contest my parking ticket in writing through the mail and discovered I may not have to anyway. The meter maid wrote my license # but it's missing 1 digit in the middle and the ticket listed my last 4 digits of my vin # incorrectly too.

Sounds to me like you may be off the hook on this one.I think I would contact them though. i had the same situation a while back,I contacted them and they threw out the ticket
