My License tabs on my car are expired however I have the receipt that says I paid for the tabs and I will hopefully will be getting them soon. I really need to drive but if I get pulled over will they understand that I'm waiting on my tabs to come? I need to go to work and I don't have any other transportation. BTW I'm 19 years old and I live in MN.

thanks

I dont have a motorcycle license in any state.

Id rather not have to do any tag or title process in CT (the systems out here are aweful!).

My family has 2 cars. One is a 1994 Ford Escort. Another is a 1999 Honda Passport. My insurance company is State Farm. I'm a 16 year old male. If my mom is the primary driver on a 1987 Firebird, I'm the primary driver on the 1994 Ford Escort, and my dad is the primary driver on the 1999 Honda Passport, how much would it cost? I guess State Farm requires me to be fully insured on all 3 cars, but if there is only liability on the Firebird and the Escort, could I maybe get insurance for $1,600/year? I have 1 ticket to my name (no turn on red), but i'm going to court in like 2 weeks to get that taken care of. I've been driving since April. Thanks.

I just receieved a notice a few days ago that my Maryland registration is to be suspended today because I didn't have it tested for emissions on time. I have been trying to call, but of course can't get through. I don't even live in Maryland anymore, I live in Nevada. I haven't switched my registration over yet, but I will sometime in the next 2 weeks. Will I just have to pay a fine or will I be in big trouble?

I was involved in an accident and a personal injury suit has been filed against me. Since my insurance limits are very low and i have no assest like a house or anything, if the judgement is for a very high amount and i cannot pay it, what will be the consequence? If i leave the country after the judgement, can they arrest me when i come back after a couple of years?

I just recieved a ticket tonight. I was driving my friends car that was just recently purchased within the last week. He hasnt changed the title, gotten it registered or have insurance on the vehicle. So I recieved a citation for no proof of insurance and registration. The mistake on the ticket is my birthdate says I was born in 03. Obviously that is a mistake and I was told I might be able to get the ticket dismissed because the fines for these violations are somewhat high. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a minor minor accident, the only damage with the cars are scratches, we did take each other's insurance information down though but she said that if the mechanic says nothing is wrong with her car then we don't have to do a claim. What I'm wondering is if this is illegal since we both really don't wanna go through insurance stuff, and she thinks it's my fault I think it's hers, the damage is minimal so we don't really care. Also if we agree not to do a claim, could she somehow backstab me and claim it like days/weeks/months later?

Hi, I cancelled my auto/home insurance today with my very long time provider to save money with a new company. I'm thinking I made a mistake as the new company keeps thinking of something they missed and putting up the amount and they don't have accident forgiveness like my current company. Can I UNDO the cancellation? Or is it too late?

Here's the scenario. I lend my vehicle to another party. They obtain full insurance coverage on the vehicle, however the legal ownership, i.e., registration remains in my name. In the event of bodily injury or property damage caused by this other person in my vehicle, is my liability protected? Insurance or law professionals please.

my car got hit about a year ago by a teenager, my car was parked on my parking lot and she was goint to turn right on a curbe but instead of hitting the brake she hit the gas, so she hit my van look at the pics, she didnt have insurance and i did but not the full coverage, so i had to pay for repairs, i got the police report, so i am decided to take her to court so she can pay for the damages, i already fix my car, i just want the money i put on it, i tried to call her and i even went to her house, but the people that lived there told me she moved to a different state here in usa, i live in ca. so you think that if i take her to court they will make her pay even if she is in another state??
