I purchased my vehicle a year ago and I should have done it then. Is there any way I can get it now?

The only time you can purchase GAP insurance on an insurance policy is the day you add the brand new car (current model year, first owner) to your insurance policy, which is the same as the purchase date. There is no way you can get it now, sorry.

No. It has to be bought at the time of purchase.
