Permission is ONE part of being able to drive a friends car. Insurance is another. If your friend does not have insurance that also covers you, you are not covered to drive the car and therefore illegal. Any person that allows another person to drive their vehicle, when there is no insurance to cover that person is liable in the case of an accident. I have coverage through my insurance company that covers me in any vehicle I drive.

He cannot give permission unless his insurance covers outside drivers, unless you have insurance on your car and your company will carry that amount of insurance to either a borrowed car or rental vehicle.
You can, in most states by law, drive anothers vehicle with their permission but the insurance company may not pay in case of a claim.

It depends on his insurance. Most people's insurance plans cover other drivers as long as they had permission of the owner and are at least 25 years of age and do not live at the same address. But this varies widely, so be sure to check.

Yes as long as it is registered and insured and that you are a legal driver yourself ...but sometimes parents put restrictions on teenagers so you might want to find out if he has full coverage or liability only all that stuff b4 you drive any car

you can only drive another persons car if you or they have full coverage insurance. that way if you get into an accident they are covered. limited liability and partial insurance would not cover if yu got into an accident and i am sure your friend would be quite upset.

Yes, you can drive someone else's car as long as you have their permission - if you are in an accident it will go on your insurance.

If your 25, your insurance will cover the damages if you were to have a crash. Otherwise, it's not a good idea.
