ok. so my licence was first revoked when i was about 15 years old. the reason being that i was caught drinking under the age. this happend numerous times after that for alcohal and marijuana charges.then i was caught driving on a revoked licence a few times too. each charge added a year onto my revoked licence which equals up to ten years.
im twenty years old i have never had my licence and i have never had a dui (never drove drunk period). since my last charge i have completed a 3 month drug/alcohal program, and i have reamained clean and sober for about 10 months now. i know i am the one that lost my privelledge of driving, but i think its rediculous to revoke my licence for ten years over these minor offences that i commited as a young adult. i just cant wait untill im thirty to be able to drive. i need better transportation to work and back! anyways thats my sob story, but i want to know if it is possible for me to move to a different state (eather CA. or OR) and get my licence?

It happened in a school parking lot, I was backing out my car with my child inside, While backing I also saw noone else backing, but when my car was almost out, I saw the car behind me backing out, I honked once to alert him, but he just came straight and hit my car in the rear side near the wheel and the side of the gas tank area in a Hyundai Sonata. His car did not have any damages to it. Since he agreed on the spot, I did not file a police report for this accident. The person ageed to his mistake on the spot, exchanged all insurance details. But the next day he told his insurance that it's not his fault, and the insurance did not pay us, as there was no direct evidence. At this stage, I feel cheated , what could be done? How can I find justice in the state of Virginia? If anyone out there can suggest or advice on this, I'd really appreciate any help on this.

Today driving home from work I was pulled over and received only a citation for driving 8mph over the limit. I didn't get any points on my license or anything, just have to pay the $100 fine. My question is, do I have to tell my insurance company, and will my rate go up after this citation?

I was at a stop sign and the person in front of me had already gone to merge into the lane. I pulled forward, let a car pass, than began to move forward to merge. I hit the car in front of me because she had stalled her manual transmission before fully entering the lane. Am I still complete at fault?

In Maryland, do I have to have my liscense plates on both the front and back of my car?

I don't want to put it on the front by drilling through the body, or have it in the window because that's just annoying. I dont really want to spend any extra cash on those snap-on liscense plate holders so I'd really like to know if I even have to have it on the front.

My parked car got hit and other party took responsibility. I want to get it fixed. If I pay for it body shops charge $3k. If insurance pays for it the body shops will "milk" the insurance company and charge around $5k, that's fine with me. But, I'd like a piece of the action. Do body shops usually do this if asked?

Lets say I was in an accident where someone came over into my lane & hit me. It was their fault but their insurance company has not accpeted liability because their driver is telling a different story. Their driver is telling their company that I came over into their lane.
I didn't call the police. A mistake, I realize.
I only have liability insurance. Can my insurance company do anything for me? What are my options? If they are offering me 50%, should I take it?

Will their insurance cover the cost to fix the damages to my car and retint the windows that were broken as a result of the damage? Also, if I have to sue them for certain expenses, can I also sue them for my attorney's fees to collect the expenses? I am in Alabama. And can I get them to pay me devaluation (A.K.A. what the car would have been worth if I sold it without the accident in the cars history report?) Any help is greatly appreciated.

When your car gets repo'd.. and you still owe about $18,000.. do you still have to pay the monthly payments? And I know your credit takes a hit but are you able to ever get another car?

I pay $650 a month for my car.. and can't afford it anymore. Too much negative equity.

My wife was involved in an accident a few weeks ago and the car has been written off. I have been paid the amount agreed with the insurance company but as the vehicle has a personalised registration I would like to know if it is possible to sell it.I still have the car at my premises and have been made an offer . The plate has no connections with myself or wife as I bought the car with the plate on it.

People are liable, not vehicles. One liability policy should cover the driver of all of his vehicles.
