yes you can and the city and state but winning is another story its still considered a accident even if there lights werent on but there insurance should still cover all of your damages if there at fault.

GOod lord.. people are so funny how they throw around the "sue" word...

First off.. if he truly ran the stop sign.. and admitted it.... he has insurance like everyone else. So no.. you dont just "sue the county" (i could imagine you just going to the court room and saying "I WANNA SUE THE COUNTY"- They would get a laugh" you go after his insurance.

You can, just remember he has a lot more "pull" behind him. Try talking to their claims adjuster first. Every state, county, and city has one. You can probably resolve this without having to hire a lawyer. Submit a claim, see what happens. By doing this if it comes down to it you can show the judge/ jury that you tried to resolve this rationally with no justice. Your more likely to win a case if the judge/ jury sees you tried to resolve it and that your not just sue happy. Lots of times the agency/ insurance company has a set amount $ they can offer you without ever going through legal avenues. Good Luck.

Assuming you will locate out the help on the motor vehicle that hit you, and assuming they have coverage in place, and assuming the coverage accepts criminal duty for the wear finished on your bike, your losses (which might comprise scientific expert charges in case you have been injured and sought scientific care) could be lined. this is all you're entitled to. and that i fail to understand why "sue" could be your first thought. protecting an lawyer purely does one factor, reduces the quantity you will get and slows the technique down lots.

Why the F____ is " "Can I sue' the first word out of anybody's mouth.
Yea,what the hell, sue him. All his lawyer( oh, they have them, too ) will tell you is, did you notify your ins agent? If not, they will then laugh you out of court.
