If this law was in force, don't you think there would be quite a few less 2nd offenses.

I have leased a car on a 24 month business contract and need to insure it? DVLA don't help much as they say "When you lease a vehicle, it is entirely your responsibility to take care of the insurance"

My daughter just had her license temporarily suspended, while she was in my car. The car is registered under my name. I'm just wondering if the police can see she had her license suspended through my car's license plate number?

I am looking to buy an hyundai coupe 1.6 auto and I am wondering why all my insurance quotes are so expensive. These are my details.

18 years old
0 NCB
Full Licence held for 8 months
Only need up to 4000 miles a year
car is worth £2000
Will use it for Leisure and commuting
Only need Third Party Fire Theft
Live in the South east, in east sussex

I have been speaking to a few people who own these also and they are getting much cheaper quoted than I am getting and they need more than me like they have a 2 litre, 10,000 miles, newer model car like 2002, car is worth more.

As an example a person I have been talking to is also 18 and he has got a 2002, 2 litre and his car is worth £6500 and he has a quote for £1000 and that is fully comp. This is a group 10 insurance car.

I am 18, I am looking at a 1997 1.6 which is worth £2000 and my quote is £2400 from the same company and mine is a group 9 insurance.

I can't seem to figure out why my quote is way above theirs.

Hi,
Doing a report for law class(Who said law school is easy?) about insurance fraud and their processing in general.
1)So when you file a claim, how long does it take for them to catch fraud?
2)What happens after you file a claim?Do they start to investigate everything? Is fraud usually caught in this part of the process?
3)What if the other person frauds and lies? What happensthen?
4) Are the consequences different?Like if you lied about one small thing VS a big thing?
5) What if they find out you frauded AFTER everything is done? (Like repairs)
6) Do they find out if you lie before they repair the vehicle?(Or hand over the check otherwise..)
7) Can they change their minds about paying after they already paid and make you pay it?
8)What if the police reports say you are not at fault but you said something different?
*Basically, this being about fraud,I need to know about frauding insurance.
Share your stories!Thank you so much and Bless you for helping this burnt out college student.

I'm planning on buying a 2002 Mercedes C230 Kompressor and was wondering what I can expect to pay for insurance on the car? I'm a 19 year old male but it is under my parents insurance which allows us to put the 'main' driver as one of them and my 'main' car as another one of ours so I shouldn't be paying more b/c I'm young. Just a rough estimate would be nice thanks

In New York State what is the law for car accidents? Can you move car before police arrive? I didn't think you could, but maybe the law, states you can, for whatever reasons.

This was an accident where I accidentally scraped a mailbox, putting an indention into the side of my car...it is about a $1,500 repair; my old insurance had a $500 deductible, but I never filed-and now I am wanting to change companies. For lack of a better term, is this like having a pre-existing condition with medical insurance?
