I recieved one of those proof of insuance papers in the mail that the state of ohio randomly does. Well I forgot ,and sent it out late. Has anyone done this, if so did the state do anything about it? I do not have any thing on my record, I have a completely clean slate, and I have always had insurance!

problem there. Insurance have supplied courtesy car. Here is the problem. The car a Zafira is horrid to drive and I have no clear view on the motorway because wing mirrors are to small. Asked for replacement and insurance say we are only entitled to class A which is Corsa or similar. My car is 4 x 4 (sorry if you don't like them). Why do we not have a choice when we are the innocent party. Don't want a Mercedes or anything just a decent saloon car.

My car was broken in to and subsequently the thief was caught. He has admitted smashing three windows and stealing personal possessions from my locked car. My excess on my insurance total £160 and I would like to claim this from the thief. Can I do this via a civil claim, or what is the alternative. I do not see why I should be out of pocket on top of the stress he caused.

The commercial shows a black woman going down a road reading off lottery numbers. From the side view, there is nobody in the car and when she hits that gardener's truck and all that dirt spills, she turns to the Driving Examiner and asks. "Am I covered"? How did he get in her car to test her ?

My 2004 Dodge Caravan caught fire and the engine burned up last week. It had 35,000 miles - still under waranty (3/36). I'm waiting to see what the adjuster says about it, but am worried (I didn't have GAP insurance...) that I may have to pay out of pocket $$$. If I do, should I contact Dodge? Anyone have a similar situation? How did it turn out? Thanks.

I don't have a suspended license but me and my friend were arguing the other day about this. If you for whatever reason were to have your license in jeopardy of being suspended, or already suspended, would the DMV notify you beforehand to let you know it is going to be suspended or would they just do it without notifying you now? My friend, who is an idiot by the way, told me that it can be suspended for a year before they have to notify you.
This all started when a friend of ours didn't turn in some minor traffic incident form. It was nothing major like a wreck report, but something that said if he didn't turn it in, it may result in the suspension of his license. He drives around now worried if he gets pulled or in a wreck, he'll get arrested for driving under suspension because of what my other friend told him.
If anyone could help me out on this one, I'd love it.
Thanks.

A tree fell on my truck. The damage consists of a cracked windshield and a few dents/scratches on the top of the truck, hood, etc. This vehicle is my commuter, and I only plan on keeping it for another year, although it is quite reliable. If I make an insurance claim they will likely total the vehicle.
Is it possible to get a claim (even if it totals the vehicle), take the cash, and keep the totaled vehicle?

I got a letter in the mail saying I have to pay the full bail amount with in 10 days of the date on the letter, or else my license will be suspended. I just got the letter, and the 10th day is the 27th! So I set up a court date for 3 wks from now. Will that stop my license from being suspended?
